Triptych (Right)

This is the boldest most interesting image so I have put it first, even though it should, by usual standards, have been last, seeing as it is the image on the right of the triptych. I particularly like the shapes and dots on the right. They somehow give it a feeling of movement, of bursting with life. I can see a face in it too, which always intrigues me. I also like the two middle twigs. The spaces created by the snow break up the line in an interesting way, particularly at the bottom of the left one where the stem just becomes tiny horizontal strokes and triangles.

  1. I love the simplicity of this technique! I think you’ll get lots of interesting shapes and ideas for printing and stitching. 🙂
